FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)Regarding TNVID certification services

To help you quickly get informed about the certification process, rules, and policies, we have summarized some of the most frequently asked questions from potential clients and the public.

Part 1: General and Institutional Policies

Answer: Absolutely not. Under the international accreditation standard ISO/IEC 17021-1, a Certification Body is strictly prohibited from providing consulting services to maintain the principles of impartiality and objectivity of assessments. TNVID limits itself to providing technical certification information related to the conformity assessment process.

Answer: TNVID is run with professional governance that prioritizes integrity, the competence of specialized auditors and assessors based on the IAF Sector/NACE Code, and global network recognition. Our working principle is “World-Class Certification Services,” ensuring that the assessment process provides real added value to improve the performance of your organization’s systems, personnel, and products.

Part 2: Certification Process and Techniques

Answer: TNVID provides three main pillars of certification services:

  • Management Systems Certification: Certification to international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 37001, and other standards.
  • Personnel Certification: Competency assessment and professional expertise certification.
  • Product Certification: Conformity assessment and product quality certification to meet market regulatory standards.

Answer: Official certificates issued by TNVID are valid for 3 (three) years from the date of the certification decision. During this period, the organization or certificate holder is required to undergo a periodic evaluation process (Surveillance Audit for management systems or product/personnel surveillance) to ensure consistent compliance with standards on an ongoing basis.

Answer:

  • Stage 1 Audit: Evaluate the adequacy of documentation to verify your written management system’s compliance with the intended standard.
  • Stage 2 Audit: A comprehensive field compliance assessment to verify that written procedures are effectively implemented in the company’s day-to-day operations.

Answer: Finding non-conformities is a natural occurrence and provides room for improvement. Clients or participants will be given an official deadline to submit a corrective action plan and evidence of improvement before the Technical Certification Committee makes a decision on issuing a certificate.

Part 3: Document Validation & Security

Answer: Each official TNVID certificate includes a unique registration number and a secure QR code. Third parties can scan the QR code directly using their mobile devices or manually enter the registration number through the official Verify a Certificate page on this website to instantly view the Active, Suspension, or Withdrawn status.

Answer: Your data security is our top priority. All TNVID management, administrative staff, auditors, and external assessors are required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement and Integrity Pact before participating in your project. Your data will only be used for the purposes of completing official certification assessments and accreditation oversight.
